26th Avenue
26th Avenue is a multimedia short film based on a poem I wrote about growing up within my grandparents' house in San Francisco. As my final project for my Film and New Digital Media class, this short film was required to be shot entirely on a cellphone. The purpose of this film was to create a sense of nostalgia and a foundation for audience members to project their own experiences and relationship with loved ones within the film. I digitally painted individual frames to create a sense of fuzzy memories and instill growth and change as a thematic topic of 26th Avenue.
The Piano & the Significance of Music
This mini documentary was created for the final project of my video production class. In it, it showcased combined skills of interviewing, lighting, camera movements, and editing. I focused on interviewing my father in regards of his connection to the piano and music.
Future in Our Hands
This digital collage was created for my Composition, Literature, and Critical Thinking class as part of my final project. The class focused on climate change and current events, and our final project prompted us to create anything to evoke others to work towards change. This collage was made to illustrate the inevitable future as a result of climate crises.
Tampax Advertisement Concept
This concept art was created as part of an advertisement project for my Media in Society class. As part of this project, I had to lay out a target audience and objectives for the advertisement of an existing product. I decided to focus on an ad campaign for Tampax, a menstrual product company, and wanted to diversify its audience. My main purpose was to exemplify how not all who menstruate identify as women, making the advertisement gender-inclusive among other forms of diversity.
